Student Track - Captains' Summit
The role of a team captain involves more than just getting wins.
Captains are people of influence trusted by coaches and players alike to positively impact the overall character of the team.
To be successful, these leaders must develop strong time management skills to balance sports, academics and personal lives, all while fostering a safe space that encourages collaboration and success of the team as a whole while also recognizing the contributions of each team member individually.
The Captains' Summit intentionally brings student-athlete leaders from different sports disciplines together in the same room to nurture cross-sport dynamics for a richer, more robust experience.
